Frequently Asked Questions
Here are convenient answers to many of the most popular questions about Perfect Patients website service. If you have a question that's not answered here, contact us today.
- What's the best way to evaluate Perfect Patients?
Start by viewing Bill Esteb's video presentation here.
Bill explains how an interactive Perfect Patients will grow your practice. And the presentation explains pricing options and provides access to our demonstration sites.
- How does the Perfect Patients site produce new patients?
Several ways!
We use proprietary search-engine-optimization strategies so your site ranks high with all major search engines. In fact, 93% of Perfect Patients website rank on page one of Google.
The "Email a Friend" function is integrated throughout your site making it easy for current patients to forward articles and other content to interested friends or family members. No longer is an enthusiastic referral enough. Increasingly people ask, "Do they have a website?"
Optional Google Ad Words campaigns target prospects (within driving distance of your office) looking for a "chiropractor" or searching on selected admitting complaints. We’ll help create and manage your campaigns so you attract the kinds of patients you enjoy helping.
Let’s not forget that educating patients and increasing patient retention can actually help reduce your need for new patients! Your Perfect Patients website does that better than anyone in the business.
- What if I already have a website?
Upgrading is easy! You keep your current domain address and we simply transfer it so it’s hosted on Perfect Patients servers. We can harvest any of your content you wish to retain from your current site, which will fast-track your site development. When you’re ready to go live, switching off your old site and replacing it with your new Perfect Patients website can take a day or two to propagate across the World Wide Web
- Can I add, edit and delete content on my site?
Yes you can. You can add, edit or delete Local content pages with a simple-to-use Content Management System. And, you can add as many pages as you want.
You can edit the text and images on any of the hundreds of "Today's Chiropractic" and "Practice Members" pages included with your Perfect Patients site. (With the exception of two pages: Homepage and Current Newsletter).
- How much flexibility do I have with site design?
Every Standard site is uniquely designed. (Choose from a variety of professionally designed templates with our LITE Service.) While all Perfect Patients sites use the same underlying programming and interactivity, they all look quite different.
Start by choosing a one, two or three column design. Then tell us your color preferences. Your input and approval is integrated at every stage. The result is a unique, custom design that reflects your individuality.
- What if I don’t like the content or philosophy that’s presented?
Every page is editable and so, the site can be altered to fit your philosophy perfectly!

- Is a Perfect Patients website HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Every patient opts-in to become a member of your site. Site membership is seen as an extension of the care your deliver in your office. Every piece of patient communication from your website has the provision to opt-out. No diagnosis is ever linked with a patient’s name or other personal information. Website membership is password protected, encrypted and can only be accessed by you or those on your office team you nominate..
- I’m prevented from using the term “Doctor” or patient testimonials.
No problem. Your Perfect Patients site is configured to ensure that Statutory or Board of Registration standards are fully satisfied.
- How do patients become members of my website?
Easy! When you site is launched, you’ll receive a patient enrollment form that you use to collect each patient’s name, email address and the health topics they’d like their monthly newsletter to contain. You, or someone you delegate, goes online to your Administrative Console and enters the data into your database and a welcome email is sent to each patient. This one-time procedure gives patients access to the Member portion of your site, enables the e-Learning modules and begins the twice-monthly e-Newsletters.
- Can I post other movies on my site?
Sure. If you have an audio or video lecture or some other multimedia content (which you own the rights to), we’re happy to post it on your site. Some technical processing may be necessary to optimize it to "stream" online and there is a fee for this additional service (depending on the length of the audio or video file).
- How many email accounts do I get?
Standard plan customers receive up to 5 email accounts. LITE plan customers can include email accounts for a nominal fee for each account. Or LITE customers can continue to use their current email account for no additional fee.
- Will my site have American English or British English?
Your Perfect Patients site will use the prevailing English language spelling and turn of phrase use in your country. And, your site includes other practice preferences like:
"Patient" can be: "patient", client or "practice member"
"Subluxation" can be: "subluxation", vertebral subluxation", "vertebral subluxation complex" or "nerve interference"
... whatever your preferences!
- Can I promote a monthly special?
Yes. There are four options:
- For standard customers, your Perfect Patients site includes an Email Console you can use to send personalized emails to your site members (patients) and subscribers (prospects).
- To contain the number of emails sent to site members and subscribers, Standard customers have access to a PS function. You can append a postscript to the bottom of any or all of the emails Perfect Patients sends to your site members and subscribers on your behalf.
- Add a banner ad to your site.
Your site provides a lot of flexibility so you can do as much or little additional practice promotion as you like!
- For standard customers, your Perfect Patients site includes an Email Console you can use to send personalized emails to your site members (patients) and subscribers (prospects).
- What is premium content and design?
The basic Perfect Patients service package is superior to any website product in the chiropractic profession. Yet, some chiropractors want to stand out even more. For them, Premium Content and Design offers some upgraded capabilities. Find out more by clicking here.
- Can I see the newsletters before they are sent to my patients?
Yes. We’ll alert you about three days before each broadcast so you can familiarize yourself with the content and be prepared for any questions patients might ask. (Remember, patients asking questions is a good thing! It means they read it. It means they’re thinking. It means they're learning.)
Rest assured that the editorial slant of every article is chosen by William Esteb of Patient Media Inc. who has been creating chiropractic patient communication materials for over 25 years.

- Does my site show visitor statistics?
Yes. Your Perfect Patients site includes a statistics package that is second to none. Besides the most obvious metrics, drill down to find out the source of your site visitors, the most popular pages on your site and how long they spend on your site.
- What happens at the end of the one-year agreement?
We expect to exceed your expectations and that you’ll want to renew! Like you, we want to create a long-term relationship with our clients.
If you decide not to renew, we’ll transfer your domain to whomever you specify, thank you for the opportunity to be of service and part friends.
- What do I get for the monthly Subscription Fee?
Others call it a hosting fee because all they do is host your site. But since a Perfect Patients website is a service, we call it a Subscription fee. On your behalf each month while you’re doing what you love, we…
Refresh your homepage with new content giving visitors reasons to return again and again.
Research, write and send on your behalf, your Practice e-Newsletter and Health Interests e-Newsletter to your site members (patients) and subscribers (prospects)
Email your newest site members with invitations to participate in the interactive e-Learning (Standard plan only)
Edit Local pages with new pictures, new staff, new hours or make any other changes at no charge
Upgrade your service, adding new features, new content and greater capabilities
In other words, we "work" your site for you so your Internet presence pays its way by attracting new patients, stimulating referrals and increasing retention.
- Why is there a Licensing Fee?
Your initial Set Up Fee for our Standard Service includes your first license of 300 members and subscribers. As your website membership grows (the more you have the better it works), you simply add an additional license for an additional monthly fee for the next 300 members.
This essentially covers the bandwidth costs we incur on your behalf to send emails and the website activity from patients visiting your site. We looked at other ways, but this way heavier users pay a bit more than light users. It just seemed the easiest and fairest way to go.
- Do I get a geographical exclusivity?
No, and here's why. First, your "competition" isn't the chiropractor down the street. Instead, it's the wrongheaded ideas our culture has about health. Second, the primary focus of your Perfect Patients site is to grow your practice from the inside-out.
Consider this. What if every chiropractor on the planet had a Perfect Patients website? (We can only wish!) It would allow prospects to make their selection of a chiropractor on things such as your location, philosophy and practice style. The way it should be.
Instead, think retention. Think referrals. Think big. Avoid the temptation of seeing new patients as a zero sum game.
- How long does it take before my site is live?
Our LITE Service can be operational in as little as a few days. Our Standard Service usually takes about three or four weeks. Some quicker. Some slower. This is mostly a function of how quickly you can supply the material needed for the Local Content portion of your website.
- How much does it cost?
Our prices are competitive, especially when you consider what you get! In other words, for about the price of a website product, you can get a website service.
We can provide LITE Service for a one-time Set Up Fee of $395 and a monthly Subscription Fee of $85. Our more popular Standard Service has a one-time Set Up Fee of $695 and a monthly Subscription Fee of $110. Many choose to launch their new site with some additional premium options that can slightly increase the Set Up Fee.
If within the first 90 days of your site going live, you change your mind or feel that we’ve misrepresented our service, tell us and we’ll return the monthly Subscription Fees you’ve paid us and part company.
- What if I change my mind?
If within the first 90 days of your site going live, you change your mind or feel that we’ve somehow over-promised our service, tell us and we’ll return the monthly Subscription Fees you’ve paid us and part friends.
- What guarantee does Perfect Patients offer?
No questions asked, money back guarantee within the first 90 days! Click here to review our Service Agreement.
- How do I sign up?
Start by downloading our Service Agreement by clicking here. Complete and fax it to the number on the form and we’ll get started.
- What is the difference between Standard and LITE Services?
Standard Service bundles our most popular features and offers more design flexibility, greater color choices and personalization.
LITE Service is for new practitioners, those on a tight budget or unsure whether an Internet presence can return its investment.

- What’s the difference between a member and a subscriber?
Subscribers are usually people who have not yet begun care in your practice. These could be website visitors or people you’ve met at a screening, lecture or outreach event. They receive the first of the month Practice Newsletter and the mid-month Health Interests newsletters.
Members of your website are generally active and inactive patients. If they’re new patients, besides the two monthly eNewsletters, they also receive the eLearning modules and birthday greetings (Standard Service only). Members also get access to the Practice Members area of your website.
